Steven Spielberg is a three-time Academy Award nominee and one of the richest directors in the entire world.
His career started at Universal Studios. Then, he directed “Amblin”, a twenty-four-minute short film. This caught the eye of Sidney Shainberg (vice president of production at Universal Television’s television division).
Spielberg was the youngest director to sign an extended-term contract with a major studio from that point on.
Over the years, he has directed a variety of films, including Jaws and ET. He also worked with Indiana Jones.
