Binance CEO Calls Out Economist Dr. Doom for Using Logo

Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ in the digital asset space, has called out Iranian-American economist Nouriel Roubini, also known as Dr. Doom, for using the logo of his crypto trading platform Binaince without permission. The chief executive of the world’s largest crypto exchange by trading volume called Roubini “shameless.”
It is crucial to note that Roubini has always considered digital currencies a scam and criticized Binance and its CEO. However, he went back on his words and issued a security token based on blockchain technology called Atlas. Moreover, he also used the exchange’s logo on his token’s website, manipulating and misleading investors.
“Some people are shameless. After attacking Binance publicly on stage a year ago, now issues a token and puts Binance logo on their website WITHOUT permission,” said Zhao.
Binance CEO called out Dr. Doom out for manipulation tactics and for including the exchange’s logo on his token’s official website via social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). Additionally, the billionaire also reminded his followers of the anti-crypto statements that the economist had made recently.
Additionally, CZ added a rat emoji to his statement while replacing it with a clown one. It is crucial to note that in November 2022, Roubini attacked the digital asset space and Binance as well. Following the collapse of crypto exchange FTX under the leadership of Sam Bankman-Fried, also known as SBF in the crypto sector, Dr. Doom said that Binance was “just the same” and its CEO was shadier than SBF.
Dr. Doom also called out CZ for failing to disclose the location of his exchange’s headquarters. He said that the crypto industry’s most dangerous elements can be described as “concealed, corrupt, crooks, criminals, con men, carnival barkers, and finally, CZ.” After all these statements, Roubini is helping create a security token that would function as an alternative to the United States dollar.
Interestingly, as of now, the team at Atlas has deleted the Binance logo that was present on the website, but the names of the IMF, World Bank, White House, Goldman Sachs, Capital Group, and BlackRock were mentioned because some of the project’s employees are from these firms.
