Richard Sherman

It would appear that a career in the NFL, while bright as a shining star, can be short-lived for many football players who make waves. Richard Sherman, a cornerback originally with the Seattle Seahawks, made a name for himself after his initial draft in 2011. But in recent years, Sherman ventured outside of sports to cryptocurrency to build his income and amass wealth.
In early 2014, Sherman began accepting Bitcoin as payment for the merchandise he sold online. The same year, he started investing in the coin when it sold for $2,000 per coin. Even his grandmother wanted in on the venture when Bitcoin reached $19,000 per coin. He talked her out of investing, though.
Like any sound investor, Sherman routinely discusses the need for thorough personal research before buying into any type of investment. He’s not trying to push coins; he’s trying to educate folks on cryptocurrencies and digital technologies making the rounds. It’s commendable.
