Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg, the legendary rapper and, more recently, video game streamer, made waves for promising to adopt Bitcoin as a payment method for the release of his more recent rap albums. His 2013 release, Reincarnated, would sell for 0.3 BTC per album.
In 2013, Snoop Dogg reached out to crypto trading platform Coinbase to form a partnership or collaboration between hip-hop and cryptocurrency, specifically for the release of his album. It never happened, though. Sadly, Snoop never made Bitcoin a possible payment option for his album, and he missed out on potentially millions of dollars. 50 Cent even criticized Snoop for passing up the opportunity, after making millions himself for the same idea.
More recently, Snoop launched a metaverse project, an NFT collaboration designed to bring music and digital assets to the forefront of the conversation online.
Elsewhere, Snoop Dogg has invested in Robinhood, openly endorsed Bitcoin, and opted to use blockchain technology for projects he’s working on today.
