Crypto.com Adds Support for USDC, DAI, and Matic
- Crypto.com recently launched a virtual assistant for users built on the GPT API.
Crypto exchange Crypto.com has released an update to its DeFi wallet service, adding support for three new tokens and expanding its fiat-to-crypto purchases to more countries. The exchange announced in a blog post that it has added support for Polygon MATIC, USDC, and DAI to its fiat-to-crypto on-ramp service, Crypto.com Pay, which enables users to buy crypto via a credit or debit card.
Crypto.com Pay already offers support for its native token, CRO, Bitcoin, and Ethereum. The exchange plans to expand the list to include more cryptocurrencies in the coming months. As mentioned earlier, Crypto.com announced Pay support for more countries, bringing the number of countries that can buy cryptocurrency directly from the exchange’s DeFi wallet app to 108.
Aside from expanding its Pay support, Crypto.com has shown remarkable interest in artificial intelligence (AI). The digital asset platform became an early adopter of ChatAPT in the crypto space after it announced the launch of a virtual assistant for users built on the GPT API. The exchange is interested in the potential use of AI in crypto but plans to test the AI assistant while it evaluates user feedback.
Other crypto platforms, such as Binance, have also expressed interest in AI in recent weeks. The crypto exchange launched “Sensei,” an AI-driven learning platform for users. In addition, Solana Labs joined the trend and announced its partnership with ChatGPT, which it claims will make its users’ experiences more convenient and accessible.
