The decentralized non profit community educational organization De University of Ethereum (UETH) recently co-hosted “Ethereum A New Era” and called the event “one of the last monumental Ethereum events” and declared it a great success.

The co-founder of the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin was found in a different zone with a tunnel entry in a green dinosaur costume, creating a buzz in the crypto community. He stated that after the highly-anticipated Merge, his team will shift its focus to increasing the Ethereum Blockchain’s scalability. Buterin added during his speech at Ethereum a New Era:

“EIP-4844 (also known as proto-danksharding) will be the biggest EIP after the merge.”

The event, which was hosted in San Francisco, saw a huge participation, with over 1,400 attendees signing up to gain insights from the all-star lineup at Chase Center. Along with the massive participation from all over the world, the Executive Director of Ethereum Foundation, Aya Miyaguchi, and Core Researchers of the Ethereum Foundation, Justin Drake, Dankrad Feist, Aditya Asgaonkar, and Barry Whitehat, also lit up the event.

Moreover, co-founder of Scroll Haichen Shen, Product Manager & Blockchain Researcher at StarkWare Ariel Elperin, Founder of 0xPARC Brian Gu, Director of UETH Cy Li, Co-Founder of SNZ Keith Chen, and others also shared their insightful knowledge at the event.

Buterin conducted a panel discussion about the function of the Ethereum Foundation inside the Ethereum ecosystem with the assistance of Aya Miyaguchi, Justin Drake, and Dankrad Feist.

The announcement reads:

“They shared thoughtful insights on the role of the Ethereum Foundation within the ecosystem and how to maintain a decentralized yet coordinated structure.”

With the mission to boost the mass adoption of the Ethereum network, UETH aims to establish an intuitive and systematic learning process for Ethereum students at all levels.

Interestingly, San Francisco’s event comes days before the launch of Ethereum’s The Merge event. The Ethereum community is eagerly waiting for The Merge that aims to shift the network consensus from proof of work to proof of work and is scheduled to happen in September 2022. While in August Former BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes said that the upcoming event will work for Ethereum in a similar way as Bitcoin halving does for Bitcoin, some are still doubting if it would reverse the price action of the world’s largest altcoin.
