Toonstar Announces Strategic Partnership With Hot Topic to Venture Web3 Initiatives

In a bid to take Web3 through Entertainment Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), Toonstar has announced a partnership with Hot Topic, Inc. Today, the firm revealed that it has partnered with the retail chain to aid Web3 and NFTs innovation.

Toonstar is aiming that Hot Topic will provide the needed features for its projects and vice versa. 

Toonstar and Hot Topic Takes on Web3 Development 

Toonstar CEO, John Attanasio, said that the firm sees the combo of NFTs and retail as the next big thing for Web3. He added that he’s hoping that Toonstar benefits from Hot Topic’s customer base. With that, the company is hoping to welcome new customers aboard, Attanasio added. 

Currently, Hot Topic has a chain of retail stores across the United States of America. This amounts to about 800 outlets and about 11  million community members.

During the media engagement, Attanasio disclosed the merging of entertainment and retail platforms is Transmedia. Transmedia implies enhancing connection on screen via merchandise. He illustrated how Disney became the golden standard and Mickey Mouse as its main character.

Additionally, Attanasio added that NFTs are likely to be the bedrock of transmedia. More so, he divulged that together with Hot Topic’s community it will help enhance the embracement of Web 3.0 mainstream.

In return, Toonstar will aid the retail outlet to initiate the sales of NFTs in its stores. Therefore, it will facilitate the physical trading of NFTs, offering a shift away from the usual virtual purchase. This will help usher its clients’ preferred outfits into Web 3.0.

Toonstar, a co-producer of the Web 3.0 show, “The Gimmick with Mila Kunis’ Company sixth wall” will now deliver special NFTs collections. Subsequently, offering them via the firm’s stores alongside other merchandise.

On July 21, the official unveiling of the collaboration will be held at the San Diego Comic-con. Consequently, members of the retail outlet community will have the privilege to appear on the show.

Accordingly, the CEO disclosed that the collaboration is a preamble of what is to come. With the initiative, the entertainment sector will help push Web 3.0 mainstream to the desired Zenith. He concluded that Gimmicks manifested to pursue the aforementioned goal.
