BNB Partners with Google Clouds to Boost Web3 Startups

  • Google has made several investments in the Web3 market this year, including plans for a crypto service payment.
  • The partnership with BNB Chain offers blockchain developers and startups access to Google’s services as well as its team of technical experts.

BNB Chain has partnered with Google Cloud to boost blockchain startups and the blockchain community. According to details shared by Binance CEO CZ, crypto startups on the BNB Chain can access Google Clouds to build scalable projects.

Following this partnership, more than 1,300 active BNB Chain-based decentralized apps will be granted access to the resources offered by the platform. The BNB Chain plays host to projects across different sectors of the blockchain industry, including NFTs, DeFi, and the metaverse.

Additionally, these projects will be able to use Google Cloud for data encryption and real-time analysis of on-chain data. Another key benefit of this partnership is that it offers both developers and organizers access to carbon-neutral cloud infrastructure to scale their products.

Furthermore, the collaboration will make it easier for certain Web3 builders from the BNB Chain ecosystem to gain access to the Google for Startups Cloud Program. This features projects that have been chosen for the Most Valuable Builder (MVB) Accelerator program by the BNB Chain. The Google for Startups Cloud Program seeks to offer support to early-stage firms to grow their ventures.

Web3 developers will also have access to Google’s technical experts in different departments, including artificial intelligence, zero trust security, data management, data analytics, and machine learning. These startups will be offered the chance to participate in developer workshops and Google Cloud training and certifications.

Reacting to the partnership, Gwendolyn Regina, investment director of BNB Chain, said,

Google Cloud is a very good Web2 player and has really done a lot of Web3 stuff. It’s important for us to just work with big players who have big visions, and we share the same DNA and same visions.

This will not be Google’s first step into the Web3 market this year. The cloud services provider has already made different investments in Web3 this year. In May, the company announced plans to set up a team dedicated to building blockchain services, which would serve as a go-to spot for developers.

Google has several Web3-focused projects in the pipeline, including a crypto payment option. However, Google is yet to finalize plans for the project. Additionally, there is no official timeline for the partnership with BNB Chain.
